I like my computer monitors and I love my cats!
I live most of the year in the Monterey Bay area of California.
I spend a small amount in Baltimore Maryland.
When in California, I manage an Acupuncture Clinic one to two days a week, and I manage the needs of four other rental units in Baltimore. For a decade I managed my own urban vacation rental(s) in Baltimore, from 2500 miles away. I spend a lot of time "playing" with Computer Programming and Technology and writing. Those are passions of mine. I don't watch TV.
When in Baltimore, I put on my maintenance hat, I drive a beater of van and I take care of all things rental maintenance related.
Someone in Baltimore can't fathom what I look like in California or visa versa. It's two very different lives indeed, although I have a beater van in California too.

I graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1988. I was a part of a 2400 student high school. I enjoyed the large high school experience and learned a lot from it.
I earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in December 1993 after having started college 5.5 years prior. This time included approximately two years of full time co-op work for General Electric Industrial Drive Systems and Babcock and Wilcox Nuclear Service Company (a Framatome Company). I spent 6 weeks working 12 hour shifts 7 days at week in a Nuclear Facility during a service shut down. This time also included two summer stints as a Volunteer Construction Coordinator in Mexico and some part time jobs around Blacksburg as a delivery driver for food and merchandise.
I earned an MBA from Virginia Tech in May 1995. That accelerated 16 month program was free because I was granted a 50% tuition waiver and 10 hour per week assistantship for merit that covered the other half of tuition. I opted this route as opposed to one of the top international business schools I had been eyeing since middle school. I was growing more debt averse by the year because something did not seem right about the financing of education and the expensive cost to consume hot air from Professors. I created my own international studies program by doing self paced study abroad(s) in Costa Rica and Kenya as part of my Curriculum. I also participated in a group study abroad in Western and Central Europe.
I became a Certified Hypnotist in the Fall of 2017. I didn't see that one coming. It was a lot of fun, very insightful, and useful in many ways. The body really does have a mind of it's own, that just needs suggestions from time to time. Most just don't know about it yet.
